Where would you recommend in Greece for someone with a penchant for wine, women and song?

If you are staying in Athens, the best place to go is called “Plaka” that is where all the nightclubs and the fun are after sundown. Just outside PLAKA, you will find some specialty houses with lit light bulbs above the doors, that is totally adult entertainment. Once a year there is a whine tasting festival that is held during the warm days of the year, ask about it. There, you go in for a small fee, get yourself a glass jug, find your way to the hundreds of whine barrels, and sink yourself into numbness. Just make sure you are sober enough to leave before they close down.

More details if you inquire through PM.

May God grant you patience, and peace.
May you live long and prosper. “Mr. Spock”
May your suffering end soon.
May the enemies of Iraq and Iraqis burn in this world, and in Hell.
May God keep all of you away from harm.
May you find success, Happiness, and good health.
Last but not least, May God grant me all that I wished for you.

Good luck to you and all your friends bro. I really dont know how you guys do it. The whole timetable for exams should be changed so you guys can take your tests in April. At least the weather is bearable then. Again good luck and I hope you all get the marks you need to move on to the next stage of your lives.

Dudes, this is a good one!

The Soldier and the  Nun

A soldier ran up to a nun. Out of breath he asked,  "Please, may I hide under your  skirt. I'll explain later."

The nun agreed.  A  moment later two Military Police ran  up and asked, Sister,  have you seen a soldier?"

The nun replied, "He went that  way."

After the MP's ran off, the soldier crawled out from under her skirt and said,  "I can't thank you enough Sister.  You see, I don't want to go to Iraq."

The nun said, "I understand completely."

The soldier added, "I hope I'm not rude, but you have a great pair of legs!"

The nun replied, "If you had looked a little higher, you would have seen a great pair of balls....I  don't want to go to Iraq either."

Cheers Harry. In fact I'm looking for a traditional Greek lifestyle holiday and not the fish & chips side of the country. The wine tasting sounds great. Right up my alley.

If that is what you are looking for, then PLAKA is a must visit place. 90% of the entertainment there includes traditional and folkloric Greek music and dance. The one night club you should get into is called “Athens by Night” it is one of the best clean family type Greek entertainment spot. You might even find some Arabic speaking employees standing at the door, welcoming guests. I am planning to visit Athens next year, insha` allah.

hi again

I have been busy with my book trying to finish it quickly, and i am halfway through.
Crete is wonderful, with its olive trees, lemon, lime and orange trees.  The people are so loving so friendly, and the food, simple and cheap compared to other countries.
I stayed in a small village of 20 houses just outside Hania, I must say Hania's Harbour is a must if you ever visit crete.  The scenary is amazing, when I left on the 5th June, the tempreture was in the mid thirties, yet there was still snow on the mountains.  I discovered a small beach in Kalivas, and made friends with one of the Taverna's owners.  HE charged 20% extra on the days where there were more topless women sunbathing.  He spoke good english, and was teaching me greek, and I managed to make friends with many people there.  My favourite dish was his sea Bream or snaper cooked by his own mother.  But, try his calamarie and octupus they were simply gorgeous.  The suflakis is another favourite of mine, but tell him to ease up on the herbs a bit.
I also went up the mountains on days when it wasn't suitable to swim, and took 100's of photos.  The best meat was from the butcher in Armenio, a small village between Stylos and Kalivas, he made his own cheeses, a whole variety of it, he had his own lamb, beef and chicken, but his beef and lamb sausages with a touch of spice were amazing.  One of those things that you will never get bored eating it.
Local home brewed wines are terrible, and came in plastic 2 litre coke bottles. But, their brewers wines are excellent, red or white, and the price varied from from 1.76 to 15 euros.
The people loved the Iraqis and felt sorry for what is going on.  Few Tavernas played arabic music, especially my dear friend Illham Al-Madfai.
With having a car at my disposal, I still didn't see much of Crete.  And I was very very very sad for leaving, but I am going back in few weeks god willing.  I promised Antonio at my favourite Taverna to go back, with my laptop, writing swimming eating and drinking, not to forget oggling women.
It was one hell of a good time I had.

Hi saloomi.

Come to syria asap. At least you can work and have a better life. The syrians have been very good to Iraqis and you will feel at home here. So many young Iraqis are here now it is like Baghdad but no danger. Good luck and hope you can get out of the Baghdad hell.

hello my friends

I just booked myself another visit to crete in september.  I am planning on staying there for good.  It cost me to get there £109 return, but i only used it as one way, unfortunetaly they don't do open tickets.  Coming back that was an amazing £55.  You can easily find little rooms to rent, you only need it to sleep, wash, and change of clothes, the rest of the time you will be out sight seeing, swimming, or sitting in a taverna watching the world pass by.
I've been to greece 16 times, and its my favourite place to live or visit.

PS those of you looking to do a small business on the side, for extra holiday money, cost nothing, but few hours on the old pc a week please send me an email, and i will send you a link.

now you can afford greece.
