Now I want to be clear that I realise there is a genuine Iraqi resistance. These are groups that the government need to bring into the political process. I don't believe that true Iraqi freedom fighters are responsible for all the suicide attacks and mass murders. True Iraqi resistance only target the American interests. I would welcome negotiations with these Patriots.
In my humble opinion the groups that deserve to be eradicated are as follows:
1. Gangsters
2. Heads of groups such as Ansar Al Sunna, Tawhid Jihad etc.
3. Kidnappers
4. Murderers
5. Drug traffickers
6. Last but not least, government employees and Ministers who steal funds that are intended to help the people of Iraq.
Despite the fact that 60% of the scum that are committing these atrocities where born in Iraq that doesn't give them exemption from prosecution. They never loved their country in the first place and death is too good for them.
The groups cannot be rewarded by being allowed to enter the new Iraqi politcal process. Salam

وحكومة منتخبة يطلب منها حل مشاكل البلاد ؟
رابعا هل تعتقد ان عملية استقطاب المقاتلين الشرفاء ضد الاجنبي هي غير مجدية؟
خامسا وهل تعتقد ان طلب الدعوة للسلم الاجتماعي والدولة الفاضلة هو حلم بالنسبة للعراقيين؟ وهل ان العراقيين غير قادرين على ذلك؟

الهاشمي يدعو لمحادثات مع المسلحين عدا تنظيم القاعدة
بغداد-21-3 : أعرب نائب الرئيس العراقي، القيادي السني البارز طارق الهاشمي، عن اعتقاده بأن حل الأزمات التي يعانيها العراق يكمن في إجراء المفاوضات مع الجماعات المسلحة الذين تقف خلف الهجمات العنيفة في العراق منذ غزوها بقيادة الولايات المتحدة قبل أربعة سنوات. إلا أن المسؤول العراقي استثنى تنظيم القاعدة من هذه المحادثات. وقال الهاشمي إن الآخرين ـ الذين وصفهم بأنهم مجرد جزء من المجتمع العراقي ـ ينبغي أن يدعوا إلى محادثات لمناقشة مخاوفهم وتحفظاتهم. أما تنظيم القاعدة فقال الهاشمي إن عناصره غير مستعدة اساسا للحديث مع أي جهة. كما أقر الهاشمي بأن الحكومة العراقية قائمة على أُسس طائفية.
وقال الهاشمي كذلك إن من الضروري إقصاء جميع عناصر الميليشيات من القوات المسلحة العراقية.
ضباط غير موالين
وتزامنا مع تصريحات الهاشمي، قال مسؤول امني عراقي رفيع لبي بي سي انه لا يستطيع ان يثق في ثلث ضباطه بسبب ولائهم للمسلحين.
واكد رئيس الشرطة في محافظة ذي قار عبد الحسين الصافي لمراسل بي بي سي بول وودان ان العديد من ضباطه غير موالين.
واضاف انه لا يمكن تسريحهم لانهم يحظون بحماية من القوى السياسية.
وفي الوقت ذاته قال جوناثان شو قائد القوات البريطانية بجنوب العراق ان الوزراء العراقيين يعلمون ان الشرطة "ليست كفؤة".
الصافي يقول انه لا يستطيع تسريح ضباط غير موالين
واشار ان "هناك دائما توازنا عندما نشكل قوة شرطة وجيش جديدة".
واضاف شو انها مسألة توازن بين حماس العراقيين في الاعتماد على النفس وقدرة العراقيين على تحمل تلك المسؤولية "وهذا ما يجب ان يحدده العراقيون"
وفي الوقت ذاته قال غالب الجزائري المسؤول الامني الرفيع ايضا بالعراق انه أجبر على تعيين ما بين 300 و400 ضابط من الأميين تماما.
واوضح ان احد ضباط الشرطة كان قد فصل بعد ان ثبت اتهامه بتهريب الاسلحة الى المسلحين لاستخدامها ضد القوات البريطانية، ولكن بعد ذلك تم اعادته الى الخدمة وتمت ترقيته من قبل المسؤولين في بغداد.
واضاف انه يخشى من ان يكون بعض الضباط يمارسون التعذيب مثلما كانوا يفعلون ايام الرئيس صدام حسين.
تسليم ذي قار
وجاءت تصريحات الضباط العراقيين في الوقت الذي تسلم فيه القوات البريطانية السلطة الى القوات العراقية في وسط مدينة البصرة.
شو: الوزراء يعلمون ان الشرطة "ليست كفء"
واشار شو الى ان تلك الخطوة تعكس شعور القوات البريطانية الحقيقي بالتقدم هناك.
وقال لمراسل بي بي سي هو ادواردز ان القوات البريطانية شاركت في اعادة الاعمار وتنحية العناصر الفاسدة وتدريب القوات العراقية.
واضاف "يمكنهم الان ان يروا ما انجزناه على على مستوى الحياة اليومية".
ويقول الجيش البريطاني إن محافظة ذي قار تعتبر قصة نجاح، ويشير الجيش إلى أن هذه المحافظة هي أكبر مشروع منفرد للتنمية في العراق، حيث يجري العمل على إنشاء وحدة ضخ غاز جديدة تبلغ قيمتها عشرة ملايين جنيه إسترليني.
ويتولى إد براون المسؤول العسكري البريطاني وضع الإستراتيجية العامة للقوات العراقية في ذي قار ومحافظة المثنى القريبة منها.
ويقول براون إن القوات العراقية طلبت منه المساعدة في التعامل مع الميليشيات المسلحة لكنه رفض.
وقال براون للبي بي سي إن ما تقدمه قوات التحالف في العراق هو تقديم المساعدة إلى القوات العراقية بدون تولي مسؤولية الأمن وذلك لأنها من اختصاصها.
وأضاف براون أن هناك مستوى من العنف في العراق، لكن هذه هي الحياة هناك، وهذا هو الوضع في البلاد منذ آلاف السنين، وهذا الوضع لن يتغير.

السلام عليكم - alani: I’m afraid you have misunderstood my comments. I’ll answer your points as follows:
1. Why not individual trials? please clarify. If you catch a terrorist cell or group put them on trial and convict them. If you catch an idividual who is planting a bomb in a market do the same.
2. Of course I don’t mean rehabilitation of building and infrastructure. I’m referring to political rehabilitation which is something completely different.
3. I never said Al Qaida should be brought into the political process. I said genuine Iraqi resistance. A big difference. When a country is invaded it has the right to defend itself against its occupiers. The resistance I refer to are those who target only occupying forces, not those who plant bombs in markets, schools and police stations. I hope this is clear for you now. These people are dedicated to fighting an invader in an occupied country and they have every right to do so.
4. No I don’t think Iraq's resistance fighters against the foreigners is unworthy. Its just that I would rather the Iraqi resistance joined the political process because I don’t want to see any more bloodshed.
5. I think we can achieve peace but it needs time and another change of government. Our current leadership relies too heavily on Jihoosh Al Mehdi for its parliamentary votes. In fact most parties rely on Militias so the whole process needs to be reviewed and modified. Also if there is to be a REAL reconciliation process, I doubt very much that it would succeed without cutting off the Iranian, Syrian and Saudi influence....The problems of Iraq now are regional and even global more than anything else.

now you are writting clear sentences but i do n't hear such word in politics for example you said:
Of course I did n’t mean rehabilitation was wrong but i did not heared it in politic (it means reparation) it used in some thing else................
it was better to use (ameluration or refont modification....etc )
but rehabilitation is used in technical infrastructure,any how now it was better and we hope to have a real liberate judgement.
but i beleave better to speak to all iraqi people in their language and in jordon a lot of CD of arabic language.

In fact political rehabilitation is a very commonly used phrase in politics, perhaps you just missed it..

Political rehabilitation is the process by which a member of a political organization or government who has fallen into disgrace is restored to public life. It is usually applied to leaders or other prominent individuals who regain their prominence after a period in which they have no influence or standing. Historically, the concept is usually associated with Communist states and parties where, as a result of shifting political lines often as part of a power struggle, leading members of the Communist Party find themselves on the losing side of a political conflict and out of favour (often to the point of being denounced or even imprisoned) as a result. Iraq admits police massacred Sunni Arabs
MOSUL, Iraq (AFP) - Iraq's embattled government admitted on Thursday that police were behind the vengeful slaughter of at least 70 Sunni Arabs in a northern town as soldiers uncovered further bodies of executed men.
Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, who has commissioned a government probe into a suicide bombing and killing spree that slaughtered 160 Iraqis in Tal Afar, issued an emotional appeal for unity amid fears of spreading sectarianism.
Gunmen, at least some of whom survivors charged wore police uniforms, went on a bloody rampage through the town's Sunni district of Al-Wahada after a presumed Sunni suicide bomber blew up a truck in a crowded Shiite district.
Interior Minister Jawad Bolani, himself a Shiite in the Shiite-dominated government, confirmed that the perpetrators of the furious shooting rampage came from the police force, which is overwhelming Shiite.
"We will take legal action against a group of them. An order has been issued by the prime minister to investigate the violations caused by elements of the police in Tal Afar," Bolani told state television.
A doctor in the town, which has been shattered by Iraq's worst sectarian bloodshed in months, said the bodies of another five shot men were brought to hospital by Iraqi soldiers on Thursday in what he called a separate incident.
An Iraqi army source speaking on condition of anonymity said 13 policemen were detained for the mass killings of Sunni Arabs.

Salam
May god bless their souls, and ease the pain of their relatives. I am sickened by this, I just don't know how to describe it. This war is beyond human behaviour, beyond what I recognise as an accepted .... I really don't know what to say, with tears running down my face.
Fathers and sons, women and children slaughtered for being born shiat, or sunni, iraqi or Kurd or christian, for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, for being born in Iraq.
Is there a family in iraq who hasn't lost someone in the last four years?
I believe its time for Iyad Alawi to take his place as a Prime Minister, like him or not, he is tough rough clever and will do his best.

السيد اياد علاوي حاول ان يحصل على جبهة وطنية ضد التحزب الطائفي الا انه نجح فقط مع السنة مع حزب الدليمي وفشل مع الشيعة وزار بلدان عربية عدة ولم يستطع لحد الان ان يظمن غير 25 صوت في البرلمان وهي اصوات قائمته ولهذا فشل في تحقيق امانيه في رئاسة الوزراء بالرغم من انه لا زال يحاول

اعدام اقدم جسور بغداد ستون عاماً وانت ممدد بين ضفتيك تقارب بين الرصافة والكرخ، رصافة علي بن الجهم الذي قال عنها بعد أن رق شعره بفعل عيون البغداديات
عيون المها بين الرصافة والجسر جلبن الهوى من حيث أدري ولا أدري
هذه العيون التي استبدلت كحلها بالدموع منذ سنوات.
وكرخ علي بن زريق البغدادي الذي ودع فيه حبيبته حين ارتحل بحثاً عن الرزق فقال يبكيها:
استودع الله في بغداد لي قمر بالكرخ من فلك الأزرار مطلعه
وهل هناك مكان كتب عنه وقيل فيه الشعر أكثر من حاضرة الخلافة العباسية \"بغداد\"؟ وبغداد هذي المكونة من جانبي الكرخ والرصافة ، كنا نسمع عنها حكاية يوم كنا صغاراً أنه باكتمال جسرها السابع ستصيبها الكوارث، والغريب أن هذا ما حصل بالفعل، فما إن اكتمل بناء سابع جسورها حتى نشبت الحرب العراقية الإيرانية ومن يومها لم يهدأ العراق ولا نامت بغداد ليلها منتظرة صبحاً أفضل.
الجسر الحديدي (الصرافية) هو ثاني أقدم جسورها في التاريخ الحديث بعد جسر الشهداء، وقد بني بطريقة فريدة فقد غلف كامل الجسر بإطار حديدي متقاطع ومتماسك كما انه أعلى الجسور ارتفاعاً عن سطح الماء. من تحته ينساب بصمت نهر دجلة بمائه الرقراق منحدراً نحو الجنوب، هذا النهر الذي حياها الجواهري تحية ما زلنا نرددها:
حييت سفحك عن بعد فحييني يا دجلة الخير يا أم البساتين
وما زلنا نفارقه على الكراهة بين الحين والحين.
ومن فوقه تمر السيارات المسرعة والقطار المترنح \"الريل\" الذي زجره المطرب ياس خضر أن لا يصفر مخافة أن تجفل حبيبته:
ولك ياريل لا تصرخ أخاف تفزز السمرة
وهاهي العراقية السمراء مفجوعة منذ عقود وزادت فجيعتها بعد الاحتلال.
الجسور في بغداد ليست جسوراً يمر عليها العابرون ، إنه حياة كاملة تتحرك عليه، فما إن يبدأ الصباح حتى تدب الحياة فيه.
أيها الجسر كم من العشاق مروا عليك يتهامسون بكلمات الحب باستحياء، وكم من الطلاب اجتازوك يهرولون الى قاعات الدرس وهم يحلمون بمستقبل جميل، وكم من الباعة بعرباتهم مروا فوقك وهم يبحثون عن الرزق الحلال، وكم من الثوار عبروك وهم منشغلون بما يخططون له.
آه كم كانت صباحات بغداد مشرقة جميلة، حدائق غناء في كل مكان ووجوه باسمة حالمة، ومن على الجسر يمضي السابلة كل الى غايته، فتتسارع خطاهم عند نهايته بفعل انحدار الجسر في سير أقرب الى الهرولة، أما الصبية فهذه فرصتهم للركض وهم فرحون بالذهاب الى المدرسة وبميلاد صباح جديد. يمتلئ الشارع بالنساء الجميلات وهن يرتدين الملابس الملونة مما يضفي على الشارع البهجة والسعادة، يمضين الى جامعاتهن ووظائفهن بثقة، والجميع يدرك أن لذة الحياة وقيمتها أن يتحرك الانسان و(في الحركة بركة) لا أن يتكاسل ويتهرب من عمله.
أيا جسر الحديد كيف لنا أن نودعك وحتى المطربون تغنوا بك فأنت جزء من ذاكرتنا المحببة، سميرة توفيق حين زارت العراق في السبعينات رددت أغنية من التراث البغدادي وغنى معها البغداديون كما لم يغنوا من قبل:
يا عين موليتين وياعين مو لية
جسر الحديد انقطع من دوس رجلية
وهاهو ينقطع لا بفعل كثرة مرور الحبيبة بحثاً عن حبيبها ولكن بفعل تفجير هذا الجسر العزيز على قلوب الجميع، وأتساءل بحيرة لماذا يستهدف جسر رئيس في بغداد، وماذا سينفع غير مزيد من الأسى واليتم والفجيعة، وهل هذا ما تفعله السياسة وحب السلطة وهل هذه سياسة بحيث يحولون البلد الى ركام دون أن ينتصر أحد، والخاسر الوحيد هو الوطن، لماذا هذه الفضيحة حتى بات المرء يخجل من انتمائه، وهل هناك جنون مثل جنوننا، ثم من أين أتت هذه القسوة ضد بعضنا البعض، ولماذا هذه القسوة من العالم على العراق.
في التسعينات هدمت أمريكا الكثير من الجسور ومن أجملها وأهمها المعلق والجمهورية، وأعيد بناؤها بأصرار العراقيين يوم كان العراق دولة بمؤسسات، حتى أن جسر الجمهورية أعيد بستة أشهر وقد سقط وسطه في النهر، واليوم ترى متى سيعاد بناء الجسر الحديدي إذا أعيد ، وإن أعيد متى يبنى الإنسان العراقي الجديد، ومن يعيد أمواتنا ومن يمسح الدمع عن عيون الأيتام، ومن يؤمن للعراقيين أن ينعموا بالسلام في دار السلام.

BAGHDAD - The Fallujah city council chairman, a critic of al-Qaida who took the job after his three predecessors were assassinated, was killed on Saturday, the latest blow in a violent internal Sunni struggle for control of an insurgent stronghold west of Baghdad.
In the capital, U.S. and Iraqi officials defended plans to build a barrier around a Sunni enclave to protect its inhabitants from surrounding Shiite areas, while residents expressed concern it would isolate the community.
Sami Abdul-Amir al-Jumaili was gunned down by attackers in a passing car as he was walking outside his home in central Fallujah, 40 miles west of Baghdad, according to police.
His assassination came a month after he agreed to take the dangerous job — the only person willing to do so — with promises to improve services and work with the Americans to ease traffic-clogging checkpoints in the city with a population of an estimated 150,000 to 200,000.
The 65-year-old Sunni sheik was the fourth city council chairman to be killed in some 14 months as insurgents target fellow Sunnis willing to cooperate with the U.S. and its Iraqi partners. Abdul-Amir's predecessor, Abbas Ali Hussein, who was shot to death on Feb. 2.
Both men were strong critics of al-Qaida in
Iraq, which is battling a growing number of Sunni tribes that have turned against it in the vast Anbar province — a center for anti-U.S. guerrillas since the uprising in Fallujah in 2004 that galvanized the insurgency.
U.S. officials say tribal leaders and even some other insurgents are increasingly repelled by the group's brutality and religious extremism. The tribes also are competing with al-Qaida for influence and control over diminishing territory in the face of U.S. assaults.
The U.S. military confirmed the killing, and provincial officials condemned it.
"He was one of the many good people of the province who worked to help the city of Fallujah rebuild and regain life," the provincial government said in a statement. "This murder was a crime against all of the citizens of Iraq. We again strongly condemn this cowardly back-stabbing act."
Fellow councilmen and neighbors said Abdul-Amir had run for the office before and ignored pleas from friends not to take the job.
Gunmen also broke into the home of Najim Abdullah Suod, the city council chief who preceded Hussein, killing the lawyer and his 23-year-old son on Sept. 24, 2006, while Sheik Kamal Nazal, a cleric, was gunned down as he walked to work on Feb. 7, 2006.
The attack occurred despite U.S. optimism about efforts to tame Anbar, a vast desert area that borders
Syria, Jordan and Saudi Arabia, as alliances have been struck with influential Sunni sheiks once arrayed against American-led forces.
At least 38 people were killed or found dead elsewhere in Iraq, including another top city official, the mayor of Mussayyib who died in a roadside bombing in the city about 40 miles south of Baghdad.
Three U.S. soldiers were killed and six were wounded Saturday in separate attacks in Baghdad and southwest of the capital, the military said.
A roadside bomb killed one U.S. soldier and wounded two while they were on a foot patrol southwest of Baghdad. Another died and three were wounded when their vehicle was struck by a roadside bomb, followed by small-arms fire in southwestern Baghdad, the military said. A combat security patrol also was attacked by small-arms fire, killing a soldier and wounding another in an eastern section of the capital.
A separate roadside bombing, in Diwaniyah about 80 miles south of the capital, killed a Polish soldier late Friday.
The U.S. military has said that the wall in Baghdad was meant to secure the minority Sunni community of Azamiyah, which "has been trapped in a spiral of sectarian violence and retaliation."
The area, located on the eastern side of the Tigris River, would be completely gated, with entrances and exits manned by Iraqi soldiers, according to the military.
A handout obtained by The Associated Press from a local official in Azamiyah who spoke on condition of anonymity because of security concerns but said he was given the handout by the U.S. military said the wall will be 12 feet high, about 2 feet thick and topped with coils of barbed wire. The military earlier said it would run three miles.
Some residents and local officials in the neighborhood complained that they had not been consulted in advance about the barrier.
"This will make the whole district a prison. This is collective punishment on the residents of Azamiyah," said Ahmed al-Dulaimi, a 41-year-old engineer who lives in the area. "They are going to punish all of us because of a few terrorists here and there."
The military insisted its aim was only to protect the area and this was one of many measures being undertaken as part of a U.S.-Iraqi security plan to pacify the capital, which began on Feb. 14.
"The intent is not to divide the city along sectarian lines," said Brig. Gen. John F. Campbell, the deputy commander of American forces in Baghdad.
"The intent is to provide a more secured neighborhood for people who live in selected neighborhoods. Some of the people who I've talked to have had favorable comments about it, and they want us to build some of them faster."
Campbell also said several more gated communities are being erected in the Iraqi capital. He did not provide specific examples but noted that some Baghdad markets also have been encircled by concrete barriers to a degree of success.
Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, meanwhile, prepared to begin an Arab tour on Sunday that will take him to Egypt, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates and Oman, his adviser Yassin Majid said.

اغتيال زوجة وابنة شقيق علي حسن المجيد " الكيمياوي "في تكريت
قالت الشرطة العراقية إن مسلحين مجهولين قتلوا اليوم الخميس كل من زوجة وإبنة هاشم المجيد شقيق علي حسن المجيد ، بعد أن اقتحموا منزله في مدينة تكريت .
وذكر مصدر من عمليات شرطة محافظة صلاح الدين لوكالة أنباء ( أصوات العراق) المستقلة
أن \"مجموعة من المسلحين يستقلون بسيارة مدنية ،إقتحموا ظهر اليوم منزل هاشم حسن المجيد ،الكائن في حي (القادسية) شمالي تكريت... وقتلوا كل من زوجته وإبنته.\"
وأوضح المصدر ،الذي طلب عدم ذكر اسمه ،أن هاشم المجيد \"هو شقيق علي حسن المجيد ،وإبن عم الرئيس الأسبق صدام حسين ،وكان من الضباط الكبار في أجهزة الدولة الأمنية السابقة.\"
ويحاكم علي المجيد ،الملقب بـ (علي الكيماوي) ،حاليا في (قضية الأنفال)... المتهم فيها مع خمسة آخرين من أعوان الرئيس الأسبق بإرتكاب جرائم حرب وإبادة جماعية ضد الأكراد العراقيين خلال (عمليات الأنفال) التي نظمها النظام العراقي السابق في عامي ( 1987و1988) .
ولفت المصدر الأمني إلى أنه \"لم يسجل حالة سرقة أو تخريب في منزل عائلة هاشم المجيد\" ،مضيفا بأن المنفذين \"لاذوا بالفرار... ولم تعرف دوافع الإعتداء أو مصير هاشم المجيد.\

ذكرت أنباء غير مؤكدة أنه تم العثور السبت على جثتين مقطوعتي الرأس تعود لاثنتين من الجنود الأمريكيين المختطفين في العراق منذ الأحد الماضي فيما لا يزال مصير الجندي الثالث مجهولا حتى الآن بعد ستة أيام من البحث المتواصل عنهم وقالت مصادر في شرطة مدينة المحمودية ان الجثتين تم العثور عليهما بالقرب من إحدى البساتين في المدينة وقد بدت عليهما آثار تعذيب شديد ومقطوعتي الرأس وان القوات الأمريكية التي رصدت 200 الف دولار كجائزة لمن يدلي بأي معلومات عن مصير الجنود الثلاثة مازالت تواصل البحث عن الجندي الثالث حيث ينتشر الاف الجنود الأمريكيون ومعهم القوات الحكومية برفقة غطاء جوي تشارك فيه طائرات مقاتلة ومروحية وطائرات تجسس بدون طيار في مناطق مختلفة من ضواحي مدينة المحمودية واللطيفية واليوسفية على امل العثور على اي دليل يقود الى الجندي الثالث

عاجل / الإعدام شنقا للكيمياوي وا لشمري والتكريتي والمؤبد للدوري والجبوري وتبرئة العاني/ خبران
1- أصدرت المحكمة الجنائية العليا الخاصة بقضية الأنفال أحكامها اليوم على مجموعة من مسؤولي النظام البعثي الصدامي وقد صدر حكم الإعدام شنقا حتى الموت على كل من :
- حسين رشيد محمد التكريتي .
- سلطان هاشم أحمد الشمري .
- علي حسن المجيد " الكيمياوي "
كما صدر حكم بالسجن المؤبد على صابر الدوري و على فرحان مطلك الجبوري وبرأت المحكمة طاهر توفيق العاني وقد بدا المحكوم سلطان الشمري هادئا ورابط الجأش أما التكريتي فقد بدا شاحبا مرددا لعبارة "الحمد لله لقد دافعنا عن العراق " أو " عاش الجيش العراقي "أما المدان علي حسن المجيد " الكيمياوي " فقد بداء مستسلما وساهما .وقد أدلى مسؤول في حزب البعث يكنى أبو محمد " لقناة الجزيرة القطري بتعليق قصير على هذه الأحكام وصف فيه المدانين بالرجال الشجعان والميامين الذي دافعوا عن العراق وصدوا الريح الصفوية القادمة من إيران وإن الجريمة الكبرى كما قال هي احتلال العراق وتدمير دولته ولكنه لم يجب صراحة على سؤال طرحه المذيع عليه حول ماقاله القاضي لأحد المحكومين بأنه أعفي عنه بسبب تعاونه واعترافاته التي قدمها للمحكمة وعلى ندمه الشديد الذي عبر عنه لاشتراكه في عمليات الأنفال ضد القرويين الأكراد والتي راح ضحيتها عشرات الآلاف من الأبرياء ..

2- قضت المحكمة الجنائية العليا في جلستها التي عقدتها الاحد باعدام علي حسن المجيد ابن عم رئيس النظام السابق وسلطان هاشم أحمد وزير الدفاع السابق وحسين رشيد التكريتي معاون رئيس اركان الجيش للعمليات وتبرئة طاهر العاني.
وكانت المحكمة الجنائية العليا بدأت جلستها صباح الاحد برئاسة القاضي محمد خليفة العريبي رئيس الهيئة الثانية في المحكمة الجنائية العراقية العليا وبحضور المتهمين الستة في قضية الانفال وهم علي حسن المجيد وسلطان هاشم أحمد وصابر عبد العزيز الدوري مدير جهاز الاستخبارات العسكرية ابان حملة الانفال، وحسين رشيد التكريتي معاون رئيس أركان الجيش السابق، وفرحان الجبوري مسؤول استخبارات المنظومة الشرقية، وطاهر توفيق العاني محافظ نينوى ابان الحملة.
وقضت المحكمة بالحكم بالاعدام على كل من على حسن المجيد وسلطان هاشم أحمد وحسين رشيد التكريتي لثبوت تورطهم بجرائم ضد الانسانية ابان حملات الانفال.
كما قضت المحكمة الجنائية العراقية العليا بالحكم بالسجن مدى الحياة بحق كل من وصابر عبد العزيز الدوري مدير جهاز الاستخبارات العسكرية ابان حملة الانفال وفرحان الجبوري مسؤول استخبارات المنظومة الشرقية.
كما قضت المحكمة بتبرئة طاهر العاني.
وقال القاضي محمد خليفة العريبي ان المحكمة وجدت المتهم طاهر توفيق العاني بريئا من التهم المنسوبة اليه.
وقررت المحكمة اخلاء سبيل العاني الذي كان يعمل محافظا لمدينة الموصل ابان حملات الانفال على ان لايكون موقوفا على ذمة قضية اخرى .
وكان الادعاء العام في المحكمة طالب خلال مطالعته بتبرئة العاني من التهم المنسوبة اليه.
وكانت المحكمة الجنائية العراقية العليا المختصة بالنظر في قضية الأنفال والتي يرأسها القاضي محمد العريبي الخليفة قررت في جلستها التي عقدت يوم 10 حزيران يونيو الجاري تأجيل النطق بالحكم إلى جلسة اليوم الأحد.
وواجه المتهمون الستة تهما بارتكاب جرائم بحق الانسانية وجرائم حرب وجرائم ابادة جماعية عن مسؤوليتهم عن مقتل ما يقارب 180 الف كردي عراقي، بحسب الاحصاءات الكردية، قضوا في سلسلة من العمليات التي شنها النظام السابق في كردستان العراق عام 1987 قبيل انتهاء الحرب العراقية الايرانية.

أنباء عن احتمال إعدام المجرم علي حسن المجيد (الكيمياوي ) فجر يوم الغد /
بغداد -ي : قالت مصادر صحفية مقربة من أوساط وزارة العدل العراقية إن حكم الإعدام قد ينفذ فجر يوم غد بالمجرم علي حسن المجيد المعروف باسم "علي الكيمياوي " بعد ان صادقت المحكمة الجنائية العليا على الأحكام الصادرة بحق ثلاثة من مسؤولي نظام الطاغية صدام حسين بعد إدانتهم بالمسؤولية عن مجازر الأنفال . ولم توضح تلك المصادر فيما إذا كان الحكم سينفذ بحق المسؤوَلين الآخرَين الذين حكم عليهما بالعقوبة ذاتها وهما وزير الدفاع السابق سلطان هاشم وحسين رشيد التكريتي معاون رئيس أركان الجيش السابق مع المجيد أم لا . و يبدو ان تنفيذ الحكم سيتم في المكان والمؤسسة ذاتها التي شهدت عمليات إعدام سابقة لمسؤولي النظام الشمولي المطاح به وليس في منطقة حلبجة كما أشيع في فترة ماضية .
