By Thomas Keyes Feb. 28, 2005 Ahmad Chalabi, though disappointed in his earlier hopes of becoming Prime Minister of Iraq, stands a good chance of being selected for an important cabinet post, according to Associated Press, and that is remarkable in that he fell from grace with his US backers last year when it was revealed that he had been passing classified information to Iran. The real secret of his success seems to me to lie in his collaboration with American Zionists, influential Jews in government and the media, and their Gentile yesmen, who instigated the Iraqi War as a first step towards the realization of the dream of enabling Israel to annex Iraq. Chalabi, who left Iraq in 1956 at the age of 12, was hardly qualified to become the leader of 19 dissident groups whose coalition was styled the Iraqi National Congress (INC). The very name Iraqi National Congress was undoubtedly invented with a view to making it look as if Chalabi had been the head of some sort of government in exile, but the name is entirely bogus. Rendon Group, a Washington-based public relations firm was paid millions of dollars to market Chalabi to the White House and to the general public as the spokesman of a real, anti-Saddam faction, and it was Rendon Group that invented the INC. Thus credentialed, Chalabi worked hand in hand with Douglas Feith, Under Secretary of Defense for Policy and head of the Rumsfeld-created Office of Special Plans (OSP). Feith, a Jew and ardent Zionist, supplied the White House with intelligence on Iraq's illusory WMD's and the now- debunked Osama-Saddam conspiracy. The OSP's intelligence was preferable to the CIA's in the eyes of George W. Bush and Co., who were concerned less with the truth than with manufacturing a case for war. The source of Feith's intelligence was Chalabi. Later, when Chalabi was confronted with the fact that his allegations were lies, he nonchalantly remarked that it didn't make any difference as long as they served their purpose. That purpose seems be have been, not so much the removal of Saddam, as the promotion of Chalabi. Feith also passed classified information to William Kristol, editor of the Weekly Standard and director of the Project for a New American Century, a think tank that thinks for George W. Bush. From Kristol it went to William Safire of the New York Times. Kristol and Safire are both Jewish Zionists. Chalabi also supplied information to Judith Miller, herself a Jewish Zionist too, who concocts disinformation for the New York Times. Judith was one of the most strident proclaimers of the WMD myth, and, inasmuch as the NYT supplies 'news' for 507 American newspapers, I suppose her voice was heard by many millions of ears. Now she's facing contempt charges for refusing to identify the White House informant who leaked Joseph Wilson IV's name to Robert Novak. Her refusal is all part of the whitewashing of the WMD-hoax. Chalabi, along with Richard Perle, was supposed to have been present at a White House meeting right after 9/11 when the decision to attack Iraq was made. Richard Perle was Chairman of the Defense Policy Board, and, according to one source, dictates to Rumsfeld. Perle is an ardent Jewish Zionist too, and sat on the board of Hollinger International, a vast newspaper publishing conglomerate. Hollinger was headed by Conrad Black, who, though himself a Canadian-born Gentile, is married to Lady Barbara Amiel Black, another ardent Jewish Zionist. Hollinger publishes the Chicago Sun-Times, the Jerusalem Post, the Sydney Morning Herald and dozens of other papers around the world, influencing millions of readers. Feith is partner in an Israeli propaganda firm, called Feith and Zell, and his partner, Marc Zell, worked closely with Ahmad Chalabi's nephew, Salem Chalabi, of Iraqi International Law Group, a Baghdad law firm, whose selling point is that they can liaise between Western firms and Iraqi authorities. So all the evidence indicates that powerful Jewish interests stage-managed Chalabi's career and rise to power with a view to getting a foothold in Iraq. It remains to be seen whether Chalabi will be sufficiently servile to Zionist interests, if and when he starts his new job. But from what I've seen of Zionists though, they won't be depending on sheer personal loyalty on Chalabi's part. They must have in place some mechanism to compel him to fulfill his part of the bargain. Jews have served quite a few petitions for 'repatriation' to Iraq, claiming that they personally or their ancestors were deforced of land in Iraq in 1950 or earlier. And I suppose their number will grow exponentially with the passage of time. Will Chalabi enable them?
