It was been very difficult for the situation in Iraq to improve for many reasons. I was born in Baghdad, grew up there, and have been back 3 times since 2003. Every time I go back one thing continues to get worse the, the way people think. Many of the educated are gone in Baghdad, and people that have no business running this great country have been put in position to continue to back Iraq backwards. The Shiite sectarian parties are loyal to Iran, the Kurds are loyal to Israel, and Sunni parties in government are a lost cause all together. No real nationalist party in Iraq exists today. The government theft I saw and heard while I was in Baghdad this last October was unreal. As longer as Iraq is weak others benefit. I hope we see Iraq become the great country it can be in our lifetime.
