LMAO Admin's and na3al's first one were funny as ****!
Just out of curiousity, what language's the guy on na3al's last vid speaking?
Also, why the hell is Chess Haram? My mom is probably the most religious and faithful Muslim I know, but she always plays chess - and wins everytime. I've never heard of anything like that before. And can't Sistani appreciate that there are drunk perverts - who are already stupid as **** on the internet?
Answering that anal question (pun intended) and saying Chess is Haram is really making me question his intelligence!

after seeing that video on youtube I visited the sistani.org website and read about chess and other matters which I found amusing. Here is the link to the page that could help explain why playing chess is not allowd
if you visit the english part of the website you will see a white page for the questions and answers section and i think that was done intentionally after what Bill Maher's comments but you can read everything in arabic, farsi and other languages but english
Here is a video clip from Wolfowitz speaking about Chalabi and how all the pro democratic Iraqi institutions that were created were all used as a cover up to promote chalabi. Chalabi was hand picked by the pentagon to run iraq but we all know how iran got around that plan and pushed their own people to run the show and I wonder if that was the cia's plan that prevailed at the end
Thank you very much brother, I was thinking the same thing, until I noticed he was wearing Arabic clothes.
It is so interesting going on Iranian websites, to see them as being the most people in the world to be hatefull and spitefull of Arabs and Islam. Yet Ahmadinejad suggests Iraq install a similar government the same government of Iran - while their very own people aren't convinced - calling us 'Lizard-easters' and such names, and wanting nothing to do with Islam.
And why didn't anyone condemn that, or is the now over-worked theory of Maliki being in Iran's pocket holding some truth?

What is going on people? Is everyone on strike or what, just because I stopped moderating the forum? Shame on you, letting the absence of one-person affect the fellowship that bonds you. How can you call yourselves Iraqis, when one wrong decision from one person can cause you to dissert your ultimate goal? I thought I could rely on you to go on fighting without me. Are you so insecure that you all wimp out when one of you falls behind? Haven’t you heard of these words? “Take everything you can, give nothing back”. Get back on your seats, man your stations, keep on fighting, do not take prisoners. Iraq and its people are depending on you, all of you. Stop the wound before it gets any deeper, before it rips the heart of motherland. Do not let my absence become an obstacle. You are the only hope for the starving people inside Iraq do not let them down, or there will be no Iraq to speak of.

Hey welcome back bro, and epic comeback speech - never knew you had that carisma stuff in you Harry - always imagined you as the forum Dirty Harry.
I think that thread arguement ripped up the Iraqiness that binds us, and everyone went to their own agendas - plus we already lost some members like Sadiq 2006 and Yellow Sunshine before - probably from the same crap.
Thanks very much for coming back man, hopefully your kindness in this act of reconciliation will inspire other "OG's" to come back - I'm hoping MOTB, Sadiq 2006 (come on, who can say they didn't find his unendable sheer determination in his crusade against the Kurds ammusing?) and Yellow Sunshine.
Also the others like LOB and Calm also haven't been posting for quite a while. I pray they all come back - we really need a serious and grown-up Iraqi political debate on the net, not occupied entirely by dumb teens thinking the ethno-religious conflicts in Iraq are like a football team - or a bloody rap gang they're repping!
Anyway, welcome back my friend, it's absolutely great seeing someone return here. And thanks very much for your wise inspirational words, hope they motivate the others to come back.
Harry welcome back my friend! See what you have inspired others to do? :) now that's the spirit and hope to see you contribute again.
It is truly sad that from one argument this one stopped writing and that one stopped replying as if we are some kind of teenagers fighting on the streets in some area in Baghdad. We all come from different colors and backgrounds even in here in the USA, the most diverse country in the world yet even though we argue, get disappointed but we never lose faith in what we believe in.
I am so glad that our regular contributors are one of the most talented and educated people I have seen for a very long time and I personally read their contributions and enjoy it, the good and the bad.
we need some new ideas here to inspire others to come here and speak up, maybe we can pick a subject or article every now and then and have an intelligent discussion about it, what do you think?
We just need LOB and Calm at the very least for this site to work. I'll try starting a thread tomorrow inshallah about that Russia/Georgia 5-day War, hopefully taking the focus away from our dusty, depressing and pathetic Iraq (who would have imagined it'll sink this low?) might offer just the breath of fresh air to lure them back. Then bang, we trap them here with more Iraq discussions.
