I know politics seems to be the most popular subject, however, I was thinking of poling for the most loved or favorite “Singer” “Actor” “Poet” “Songs” “Movies” “Plays” etc… They could be in separate categories “Male, female, eastern, western” and so on; Or all in one pole. Members should also post the reason for picking their choice(s).

Harry, that's a great idea. I will start with singers and I know that people are now looking at two singers Hathum Al Saher and Hussam Rassam, any others you want to add into the mix? we can start by "Which singer do you like listening to? kathum, hussam"
I know that I have pissed off singers such as Haitham Yousif, Elham Al Madfai, Adel Ogla and many other fine singers. However I contacted my cousin in Iraq and I asked him to give me a list of Iraqi singers that people are listening to these days, Kathum al Saher was at the bottom of the list. The list contained some 15 singers and the voting application can only take up to 10 items only, so I had to skip few.
so this list is from Iraqis in Iraq, so they don't listen to Elham, Kathum el saher as much as they listen to new singers/new voices.
He did mention that there are plenty of other singers from our beloved sharaqwa and m3dan, I will get to those on a separate poll :)
I will eventually use the result from this one to create a new one for Iraqis who live outside of Iraq and who still listen to Elham, Adel Ogla, Hussam Rassam, Majid Kakka and so on.
I am board of online polls with political content, due misrable situation in iraq most of these online polls are pretty much predictable so there is no element of surprise in them. At least this new online poll and the others that will follow will actually give iraqis something else to think about, something more interesting.
and thanks for mentioning Iraqi food, I will create few later on, but you guys can tell me. Do you prefer to have one online poll that would run for a month or would you prefer to have multiple online polls running at the same time for a longer period?
for example I can have 3 online polls run for a duration of one month vs. one for the month. I can extend that time but beyond a month it gets boring.
