Iraqi Passport The Iraqi passport has been through a lot in the past, and now apparently the Iraqi Passport is going into new phase of it’s life, when referring to the Iraqi Embassies around the world you will witness the misery of Iraqis who are trying to get hold of the New G brand passport, applications are issued in Baghdad, hence there are no enough applications to go around, when meeting with the Australian Taxi driver, Now the consular General in Dubai, he claimed that there is “only One Machine printing these passports and the machine is located in Baghdad”, when I asked him why there are not enough applications to go around for every one, he said we have shortage of applications and each application is Marked carefully with special serial numbers, so in this way no body could forge these applications and we make sure that only the rightful people will get them. Yet we see that thousands of so called rightful people “Kurds fro Iran, Syria, and Turkey” were found legally rightful to have an Iraqi Passport, thanks to the foreign ministry for making our lives easy.
you said :(Yet we see that thousands of so called rightful people “Kurds fro Iran, Syria, and Turkey” were found legally rightful to have an Iraqi Passport, thanks to the foreign ministry for making our lives easy), do you think it is funny don't you know the kurds are stealing everything from iraq and faking the passports so they can steal more iraqi land and bringing more of them to north of iraq and claiming these are theirs, and simply telling (did you see there are more kurds in these lands so it is originally for us).
do you want to believe that you people are iraq are it as if it a playground, how can you people live with that ?
I phoned the embassy today in London. I was amazed by the skills of the lady who answered. She was very helpful, and I was told that if you have your papers in order, old passport, and nationality papers, then it will take no more tha 2 weeks to issue the passport.
Calm, seeing is believing. I applied for my new Iraqi passport back in July of last year. The guys at the Embassy in Amman assured me that my number would come up in a month (each applicant receives a batch number). Guess what, I only received my passport in March of this year so that means it took them 8 months to issue me with a passport. I heard that in Baghdad the wait is the same unless you pay a reshwa to have your application put on fast track. They do this because they know bloody well that there are many Iraqis who need their passports in order to emigrate and therefore are willing to pay for something that should be theirs by right. I'd be interested to hear if the London branch is any different from their Jordanian counterparts. Good luck bro, I think your gonna need it.
