you see these days the US playing along with the Dawa party and their rep. in the government Nuri al Maliki against the Kurds with this Turkish operation in northern iraq
information from satellites and other sources are going to turks to help them target kurds in the north and at the same time nuri al maliki is using this to pressure the kurds more in regards to numerious issues he wants to pass in parliment
this is a turning point and i wonder how much kurdish leadership got for this in return and how those kurd nationalists are handling this situation. how can a kurd nationalist allow their long time enemy be as close as 75km from Irbil and not fight back, it's puzzling to me
i wonder if there is a campaign to not leak any information from the north and to filter the news so we don't see the actual events
do you have family and friends in the north of iraq to tell us the actual events taking place on the grounds?
