BAGHDAD, Nov. 26 - At least 15 bodies were found on Friday by US troops in Iraq's northern city of Mosul, the US military said. At least 12 unidentified bodies were found by US-led forces patrolling on the western side of the city, a military spokesman said. Earlier in the day, US troops also found three other bodies, including a Kurd and an Iraqi soldier, near a mosque in western Mosul, the spokesman added. The death toll brings to at least 35 the number of corpses discovered in the past week in the city plagued by insurgents' attacks. Most of the bodies were believed to be of Iraqi soldiers, some died in execution-style. Mosul, the third-largest city in Iraq, has been the scene of a mass insurgent uprising against the US occupation in the wake of the US-Iraqi major offensive on the flashpoint city of Fallujah that began on Nov. 8.
