Iraqi100Percent -> Iraqi Kurds Demonstrate Against Their Kurdish Institutions ... Not (10/30/2007 9:49:34 AM)

I was hoping to see plenty of Kurds demonstrate and share their anger and rage towards the Kurdish side of the Iraqi government and their institutions in Iraq for allowing Turkish army to pound and ground PKK rebels in the north who have been fighting for Kurdish independence for many many years.

I went on the kurdish forum to see some of this anger however it didn't exist as if all of a sudden the blood of the PKK isn't Kurdish enough

it makes you wonder sometimes how those who yell slogans and hide behind national agendas really are when the going gets tough.

this is like an american movie when bloosh, bombs, action fill the screen yet at the end the hero (kurdish political leaders) are happy, sleeping together, with each other, you go figure!

I would bet this turkish incursion into Iraqi territories has been orchestrated and agreed upon by both sides of the equation and it drag for another week!

let's see who is going to be on the terrorist list next and what part of the iraqi government is going silence itself ....... Shia militias? The sunni already have their bad side, Kurds and next Iraqi shia?

I had to move this one to the Iraqi-Kurdish issue forum.

Yes, it is interesting to see who is next in the list. I find the timing of this interesting because only a month ago, the Kurds of northern Iraq signed a few illegal oil deals with private US firms, which embarced Washington (which recognises the central government, well the one that they created!). Could this be a warning from Washington to the Kurds?. Or, could this be a chance that the Turks have been seeking to have a permanent presence in northern Iraq to re-claim Wilayat Mosul (as their Ottoman grandfathers called it) given that their feared Saddam and the once strong & proud Republican Guard is gone?
