ملابس من صنع العراق قريباً في اسواق الولايات المتحدة
مسؤول عراقي يؤكد ان تسويق صناعة الملابس هي خطوة اولى في طريق الترويج للمنتجات والخدمات العراقية في اميركا. ميدل ايست اونلاين بغداد - اعلن مسؤولون اميركيون وعراقيون الاحد ان شركات التوزيع الاميركية العملاقة "وول مارت" و"جي سي بيني اند سيرز" و"روباك" ستبدأ بحلول عيد الميلاد (كانون الاول/ديسمبر 2007) بيع سترات جلدية وملابس من صنع العراق في مخازنها. واوضح المسؤولون ان مصانع للجلد وللاقمشة المحلية تستعد لتوقيع عقود مع تلك الشركات من اجل بيع منتجاتها والدخول عبرها الى الاسواق الاميركية حيث المنافسة شديدة جدا. وقال نائب وزير الصناعة العراقي سامي الاعرجي في مؤتمر صحافي انها "بداية متواضعة لاستقطاب هذه الاسواق". وقام فريق من المسؤولين الاميركيين برئاسة بول برينكلي، نائب وزير الدفاع المكلف التطور الاقتصادي، بالمفاوضات مع شبكات التوزيع الاميركية. وقال الاعرجي "لكننا سنتمكن قريبا من اجراء مفاوضات مباشرة"، مشيرا الى استعداد العراق لارسال سلعه الى هذه المحلات. وسيتمتصدير 10 الاف الى 12 الف سترة جلدية مصنعة في بغداد، كمرحلة اولى، الى المحلاتالتابعة لتلك الشركات، بالاضافة الى 20 الفا الى 25 الف قطعة ملابس من مصنع فيالنجف (جنوباً) وملابس خاصة بالمراهقين من مصنع في الموصل (شمالاً). وقال نائب الوزير العراقي "انها دفعة اولى، من اجل تقديم المنتجات العراقية بسعر تنافسي الى المستهلكين الاميركيين"، مضيفا ان البضاعة ستعرض في عدد محدد من صالات المصانع الاميركية. واوضح ان البزة ستباع بين ثمانين دولارا وتسعين دولارا وهي موجهة للطبقة الاميركية المتوسطة. واشار الى ان صناعة الملابس هي خطوة اولى تهدف الى اقامة علاقات عامة للترويج للمنتجات والخدمات العراقية. واوضح برينكلي من جهته ان الهدف هو العمل على احياء الاقتصاد العراقي الذي هو شرط اساسي لوضع حد لدوامة العنف اليومي في العراق. واشار برينكلي الى ان المصانع العراقية تعمل في شروط جيدة رغم العنف، متوقعا ان يعود الاف العمال الى عملهم خلال السنوات المقبلة، مشيرا الى ان البطالة تطال حاليا اكثر من 60 % من السكان الذين هم في سن العمل.

really i didn't know that iraqis are selling their clothes in USA, this a chance the americans learn more about the iraqi culture and know the truth about the iraqis and their great culture.
No no I am not making fun of Iraqis but of those who think so superficially. Why should americans know about iraqis? what else should they know about iraqis and why our focus is still on those americans - the killers of women and children. If I see an american or hear their disgusting accent I go miles away. I do know what your Maliki and Blackwater are doing, they are accused of killing iraqis from both sides, Shiats and Sunnis, because they know how small minded and uneducated the majority of Iraqis, and why? Because for 35 years we were shut away from any civilsation, we were taught that it was a Haram, and Haram to look and learn, Haram to read and learn, even when man landed on the moon, it was haram to believe in that crap. So therefore as long as there is civil war in iraq, both Blackwaters and Maliki are making lots of money out of it. And you Sadiq, I am fed up with you and your comments, since when exporting leather jackets is part of the Iraqi culture??????????? What I see is happening now in Iraq now is that few turbin people acting and becoming like the big Mafia. I don't care who they are and what they are, but they are the ones who are responsible for the downfall of our economy, our peace, our values, our respect for life, and the respect for our land. Those are the criminals of Iraq, without them, we would've had peace a long time ago, and we would have got rid of all the occupied forces, and with them blackwater. Instead of spreading peace, they spread their bullets and bombs in every direction. I might be called traitor now for speaking my mind and the truth.

Calm I liked the begining of your paragraph, what happens to Iraq wasn't the fault of Americans only it's the fault of some Iraqis that sold their people for the highest bidders and let's not get into exposing those individuals and write their full names. You blame Iraqis for what's happening yet you only look for the past 35 years like the rest the khullab in the iraqi government who blame saddam for the problems of the world as if saddam was the deamon and every one else was such an innocent angel. Let's the truth be said and not hide behind slogans of the so called government of Iraq. Why don't you say that what has happened to Iraqis started in 1991 after the devistating sanctions and it didn't have much effect of the iraqis as much as what's happening to them after maliki came to power.
why don't we say that iraqis had the best medical and educational establishments in the middle east before and after saddam? why credit isn't given as if Iraqis were a bunch of animals? why don't you tell us how much and how many scientists did the iraqi givernment send abroad to study for free before 1991?
those who stand side by side with the americans and who sold their people are the same people who were educated and sent aborad by the same iraqi government within the past 35 years.
saddam did bad things but to be honest, it's nothing compared to what the shia militias are doing to the iraqis under the covers to assasinate scientists and political leaders and to scare iraqis and flee their areas so project of ethnic cleansing is executed and on target.
the masters of ethnic cleansing and killings isn't saddam, it's the huthalag around him that were serving him and doing his dirty laundry and now those same people are running the show, that's why you see this country falling apart because every scum wants his share.
if we are not honest with ourselves, Iraqis will never see the daylight and to be honest, I could care less about the clothing!! Iraq used to export education and scientists to the world, iraqis don't need the clothing to introduce the world to its history and civilization. Iraqis can export dates, rice instead! at least they will be self suffecient rather than be swallowed by a global corporation.

i agree with you 100%, but you have to know something that the iraqi shia are very good people, forget the politians shia i hate them but the normal people iraqi shia are good.
We people are so narrow minded, we pickup little insignifiacnt issues and make them big, and we ignore the main issues.
And like Abu, if anyone doesn't agree with him or his way of thinking, then they are ignorant, and never read enough, and so on.
If we debate an issue, we debate it for the benefit of many, not to show how intelligent one is, and if we manufacture crap and sell it to whoever, then a well done in order. And if this period in Iraq where more people were killed than under Saddam, then that does not justify or excuse in regime. The killing of one innocent person, one innocent child is too many. Perhaps we must realise that if we believe in God (Allah) than he did not create us one minute, and send all those religious so called people to kill them in his name.

So, just because Saddam and his loyal Ba’thists bombed and burned a Kurdish village, you want to take out on all Arabs.
