Dear All, I think that we have to agree upon one thing, the meal which is been cooked in Iraq has lot's of chiefs, hence the taste will either be very salty, or sweet, or indeed the entire meal will be burned. Blaming one cook for the bad taste is pass backing the rest of the cooks and trying to escape the facts. I would very much like to see some comments on this post after watching the following links

Dude, some of these have already been posted on the youtube thread. Blackwater is the US governments bodyguard. I read somewhere that there are over 140,000 mercenaries working in Iraq now. They are all above the law and cant be persecuted for their crimes. They do a lot of the US militaries dirty work. The profit margins made by this company out of our misery are huge. Here is a report for 2006.

The WPPS contract awarded in 2004 was divided among a handful of companies, among them DynCorp and Triple Canopy. Blackwater was originally slated to be paid $229.5 million for five years, according to a State Department contract list. Yet as of June 30, just two years into the program, it had been paid a total of $321,715,794. When confronted with this apparent $100 million discrepancy, the State Department could not readily explain it. Blackwater's two years of WPPS earnings exceed many estimates of the company's total government contracts, which the Virginian-Pilot recently put at $290 million combined since 2000. Six years ago the government paid Blackwater less than $250,000.

Yes dude. I know the rest belong to the Military (God gave me eyes too!). Nothing new, there are so many video's like these posted on youtube so I am no longer shocked by such clips. Doing the dirty work means when ever the US army wants to do operations without having direct links to them they send blackwater in because security firms are not beholden to any US military law. Hope that has cleared it up for you. Read the below:

Stunning Quotes From Trial of US Marine
One Shock Statement After Another in Trial of Marine Facing Iraq Murder Charges

The LA Times scoops with the story, which opens this way:
By Tony Perry, Times Staff Writer July 15, 2007

CAMP PENDLETON — A Marine corporal, testifying Saturday at the murder trial of a buddy, said that Marines in his unit began routinely beating Iraqis after being ordered by officers to "crank up the violence level."

Cpl. Saul H. Lopezromo said Marines in his platoon, including the defendant, Cpl. Trent D. Thomas, were angry when officers criticized them as not being as tough as other Marine platoons.

"We're all hard-chargers, we're not there to mess around, so we took it as an insult," Lopezromo said.

Within weeks of allegedly being scolded, seven Marines and a Navy corpsman went out late one night to find and kill a suspected insurgent in the village of Hamandiya near the Abu Ghraib prison. The Marines and corpsman were from 2nd Platoon, Kilo Company, 3rd Battalion, 5th Regiment. Lopezromo said their target was known to his neighbors as the "prince of jihad" and had been arrested several times, only to be released by the Iraqi legal system.
Other key quotes:

-- "If somebody is worth shooting once, they're worth shooting twice"
-- "I don't see it as an execution, sir," he told the judge. "I see it as killing the enemy."
-- He added that Marines, in effect, consider all Iraqi men as part of the insurgency. "Because of the way they live, the clans, they're all in it together," he said.
