The situation in Iraq is out of control except for small pockets in the country where this sectarian war hasn't reached.
A week ago PM Maliki told the Iraqis to pick up arms and defend themselves.  That was a clear admission that the American army, Iraqi army and police are not in control never been, and will never be.
And now he declared that we don't need the Americans anymore, and the Iraqi army is well capable of doing the job.
I have nothing against the man, he was brought in and put there expecting the jigsaw puzzle will fall into place.  That did not happen, because the man isn't experience enough to lead a country like Iraq.
His back rubbing and massaging with different militia mullahs brought him to annouce this crazy idea.
I never came across anyone who changes his mind so many times.
If he thinks he could hand the power to the man with the turbin, he certainly has more than one gun pointed at him.
Al-Sadr wants 100% control of Iraq.

Zorba dude. Heres a report that will interest you.

Saudi Suspects Overwhelm Iraqi Legal System
Iraqi Official: 160 Saudi Suspects Tried, Hundreds More in Prison Awaiting Trial

Riyadh, Jul 15, (VOI) – Over 160 Saudis were tried in Iraq and hundreds are still awaiting trial, Iraqi National Security Advisor Muwafaq al-Rubaie said in an interview with the Jeddah-based Okaz newspaper. On the official number of Saudis in Iraq, al-Rubaie revealed that hundreds of Saudis have entered Iraq after the U.S-led invasion in 2003.

"Many of them were killed in suicide operations and others are still being held in Iraqi prisons and detention camps, in addition to those killed during the past four years," he added. "The issue was open for discussion with Saudi officials and we set up a hotline with them to follow up on developments," al-Rubaie said in reference to Saudi prisoners in Iraq. Commenting on terrorism-inciting fatwas (religious edicts), al-Rubaie said that both sides agreed on the necessity of condemning fatwas justifying or promoting terrorism.

During the interview, al-Rubaie indicated that Iraq's stability is part and parcel of the region's stability, adding, "What threatens Iraq's security will directly threaten Saudi Arabia's."

He said that most of the recruits for armed groups in Iraq are Saudis who came from neighboring countries.

"These groups receive training in Iraq and return to Saudi Arabia to threaten Saudi civilians," he said.

Describing the visit of an Iraqi security delegation that he led to Saudi Arabia last week as a success, al-Rubaie said the delegation met with high-ranking security and political officials and discussed ways to bolster security cooperation between the two countries.

I dont know why it is always Al Sader which is been blamed for all the wrong doings in Iraq?????is how it always goes, always target the weak, No , No we dont want to upset the wealthy!! If the Americans want to leave the are wellcome, if they want to stay while keeping a weak central government, well that is not an option either, For the past 4 years, there has been numerous calls for arming the Iraqi military, but unfortunatly all these calls did fall on deaf ears, the thing which has to be realized is, sooner or later this army has to take responsiblity for the security of the country. Why do you want to keep the Iraqi army weak??? because a strong army will eleminate the need for the foriegn presence in the country, will , we dont want this , so , let's keep them grilling
the thing which some people have to undersstand is, IF THE PEOPLE OF IRAQ DO SELECT TURBINS THEN YOU HAVE NO OPTION BUT TO RESPECT THAT CHOICE, WHY , BECAUSE IT IS THEIR COUNTRY AND THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO LIVE AS THEY WISH IN THAT PEICE OF LAND. And if the trend of thinking is that Ba3they OR ex Ba3thy figures will return to rule as they wish implementy some bodies agenda like Saddam, well, I have to say happy dreams I fully support Al MAliki, and God Bless him. Long Live Iraq and long live the unity of the Iraqi people.

Dear Fly
I have nothing against any race, religion or country.  We all have the right to live, in PEACE anywhere in the world, without intruding on the freedom of the individuals.  Dectating to the masses on how to behave, what to wear, what to read, what to sell in the shops, what to drink, and what to eat, not forgetting how to live, isn't democracy.  A Sadr isn't a weak man, but the son and the nephew of some of the most intelligent leaders in Iraq history.  Thats all he is with respect, and those turbin people, yes they are part of the society, their job is religious, and they better stay away from politics.  The two together is the work of evil.
There are many mistakes made since the invasion, but its no excuse for the killing of thousands of people.  The lack of experience in governing the country shows wherever you go in the country.
A successful government should have sorted communications. enforced 100% water and electricity.  Major clean up of all cities, towns and village carried by its own people, and enforcing the rebuilding of essential government departments.  What we had wasn't enough to kick start the economy.  We needed jobs and we got none, we needed law and order, we got one big joke.  We needed democracy, we got yet another form of dectatorship.  Few men controling masses, like the mafia, but on a disorganised way.
I gather you are a Shiat, when Ali was killed, it was a christian who covered Ali's body by his to stop the arrows.
So whats the way forward? I don't know, Al-Qaida wanted civil war, and they got in the name of Islam.  So who is the intelligent here who would stand up and get the Shiat and the Sunnie's to shake hand and defend iraq, not from the americans and Allies, but from those extremist.
God bless you, and bless Iraq

Thats what I call civilization.  We are building for the future.  Every country in the world teaches its children to read and write, science, technology, art, computers, and most of all how to live and love the land they born to.

Every country protect their children from evil, and work with them hand in hand until the day where some will go to universities and learn more to help plan the country's future, while others might work on farms, factories, and public services.

And our weak Sadr, is teaching his children to kill, and kill, and kill in the name of Islam and God.

PS since when god needs men to do his work for him?

Dear Calm, thanks for your reply, the major players in the political arena are all to blame, I am not defending any part or a group, what I am saying is, their is a clear drive to put the entire blame on a group of people in Iraq(Mahdi army) and this is not good or right, it is very clear that their is an attemp by a group or indeed individuals to discredit this part while allowing some other parts to flowrish. that is the point which I am trying to make, with respect to the secound part of your post, do you know where and how Imam Ali (PBUH) was killed??? If you know where, you would be just like me in doubts of the presence of any christain in that place. The massege which is being sent is wrong and will create problems.  Regards

ps.  By ALL means let us NOT upset the wealthy, they "Walk on Water". Or think they have the capability to do so.  NOT!  In X they will get their due.

How these "LOVERS of $" can even look in the mirror and face themselves is beyond comprehension to me.  People/CHILDREN R suffering.  How DARE they look the other direction.  WRONG, so very very WRONG!

read this it is very important about the american military that will stay forever and never leave iraq just read it:

Thats it, I'm calling 911. My initial diagnosis of homersimpsonitus was wrong!  I'm afraid the situation is critical and people are advised to stay away from this man.  He has a sever case of antisadiqtivitus and it is extremely contagious.  The disease is brought on by over exposure to Sadiq2006 and the condition manifests itself by taking over the victims speech patterns and altering them to sound like Homer Simpson's!
