I watched this with a lump in my throat.  This is my city, this is where I was born, and this is what left of it, dead bodies and bombed out buildings.
Even the animals escaped.
What was achieved? Do we stand up and salute whoever you are who had a hand in this distruction?
It's time to forget about human rights, they did not give anyone else the right to live.  I would kill anyone seen in the streets with a gun in his hand, anyone who is a suiside bomber I will include all his family with those that died, and take whatever belongings the family has and give it the poor.  I would like Ayad Allawie to govern the country with an Iron Fist.
No Mercy.

Hi Calm. We've needed this type of government from day one. The idea that you can just hand democracy to a people who have lived all their lives under a dictatorship is ludicrous. Democracy isn't given, it has to be fought for to be appreciated and cherished. We have a long way to go before that happens.

Dear Azinourm, Iyad Allawi was given the opportunity to do something as he was the first PM for Iraq,Right!!!!!!, but apparently he failed, why do U think that he will do something different if re elected?????? Me in person I am extremely sensitive to the name of Ba3thy and X-Ba3thy people like Allawi, because Ba3thism = Nazism

Alawi wasn't given enough time and it was too early in the game for him to make any significant difference. I'm not saying he is the perfect man for the job but he is politically savvy and understands international politics better than the rest of the candidates on show. I've watched many of his interviews and always found his reasoning to be relevant and well thought out. He cut his Baathi ties back in the late 70's so this is a moot point now. I understand you aversion to everything Baathi and agree that the Baathies were the Middle East's version of Nazism, but judge him by the man he is today rather than his previous affiliation to the defunct Aflaki ideology.
