Great, looks like we have another Misha'an al-Jubouri on our hands. When is the Iraqi/US governments going to learn that appeasing such entities will only end up backfiring because such people don't want anything short of a return to minority rule. Read below:

Sunni legislator says he is quitting politics and joining resistance
The Associated Press
BAGHDAD: Sunni legislator Abdul-Nasser al-Janabi said Saturday he is quitting parliament and joining the "resistance" because the political process has failed. Al-Janabi, a member of the Iraqi Accordance Front, said "there is no alternative in Iraq other than quitting the political process and returning to armed resistance" because the Americans and Iranians are running Iraq. He spoke to Al-Jazeera television from Amman, Jordan. His decision came a day after his bloc suspended its participation in Cabinet meetings to protest the way Shiite Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki handled legal proceedings against one of their Sunni colleagues.

Al-Maliki issued a statement Saturday calling the Sunni bloc to end the boycott of government meetings because "only dialogue can solve any problem that happened or will happen in the future."
He warned that "boycotting, suspending participation or withdrawal from the government will not solve the problem but will make it more complicated."

Al-Janabi, a cleric who was alleged to have ties to Sunni insurgent groups, said "America and Iran are now negotiating on Iranian and American national security in Iraq. This is shameful for Iraq and Iraqis and to anyone who claims to be a nationalist."

He was referring to U.S.-Iran groundbreaking ambassador-level discussions on May 28 in Baghdad to address security in Iraq. In January, al-Janabi exchanged harsh words with al-Maliki during a parliament meeting after the legislator took the floor and accused the al-Maliki government of carrying out purges against Sunnis, the minority sect in Iraq. Earlier this year, government officials alleged that al-Janabi had ties to the insurgents and would be charged. But the government suspended an investigation under pressure from Sunni politicians.
