The images of the Iraqi people tearing down the large statue of sadaam in Bagdad and waving the american flag was truely the happiest thing I have ever seen. Soon the Iraqi people will be able to elect who they want to run there country. The iraqi press and media will be free, with no more repressive government propoganda. Where would we be if we listened to the arragant french and germans. The Iraqi people could not have liberated Iraq on there own. My heart goes out to all the soldiers and civilians who lost there lives. God bless the Iraqi people

Today is a day I have longed for almost 12 years, since desert storm. To see the people of Iraq and how happy they are to be free brings tears to my eyes. I have prayed for your people since I first became aware of Saddam and how he was torturing and killing his own people. And for years I couldn't understand how the free world could stand by while thousands men, women and children were being killed. I felt deep sadness and anger at my own people, because I felt they didn't truly understand what it meant to be a free country. With freedom comes responsibility to help others who are oppressed! I felt that our failure to help, made us no better than Saddam himself. Finally there is justice for all of you in Iraq. All I have ever hoped for was that you could walk in your streets and voice your own opinions, watch you children grow happy and safe, and be able to trust that your government had one goal - to make life good for you!
Now I can continue to pray to the maker of the universe, not
for your freedom but for your countries success! Praise the almighty maker - whomever that may be for you! The universe heard your cries! May we become the best of allies and friends
and break down the walls between our countries! Iraq, America
embraces you! Peace to all of you!

so sad about what is going on in iraq and even sadder that the so-called big players of the world still do not realise that war, terror and violence is no solution to any problem but will only serve to trigger even more. and HOW DARE any country lead war against another for egoistic and greedy reasons, even though the current government in iraq might not be the best solution for the people of iraq. let's all hope this will end soon. compassion to you all.
