URGENTLY NEEDED: LIFE-SAVING MEDICINES FOR IRAQ'S ANIMALS According to an assessment carried out last week by WSPA, the UK-based group that has coordinated emergency relief efforts in the Middle East, Iraq's veterinary system is in desperate need of tens of thousands of doses of life-saving drugs. Looters in Baghdad have stripped bare the University's Veterinary College and the State Veterinary Offices at the Ministry of Agriculture, and although the country's 15 veterinary hospitals are all staffed, they are severely short of essential medicines. WSPA and its member society, the Society for the Protection of Animals Abroad, are preparing to deploy teams with emergency supplies directly to each hospital as soon as possible. I hope that the new Iraqi Constitution is totally secular, non-ethnic, and keeps away the islamist parties & Groups away from the goverment cause they are backward, non-democratic and murderers. They will kill anyone that criticize them or islam. They r bad like Saddam. Bless all iraqis.
